About Me
I'm from Florida, but have been in California for over a year. I live with my boyfriend and black kitty Isis. I was raised Christian (Southern Pentecostal), but never felt connected to that religious path. With paganism, I feel alive. I am an eclectic pagan, choosing to glean knowledge/ideas from various paths, but I am most focused in Celtic and Egyptian areas. I went to school to study anthropology, and got a master's from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in Irish and Scottish studies. I now work for a non-profit organization that helps children. Not my dream job, but at least it benefits children, and pays my bills. I've come here to meet people in the LA area with like minds!
Music
As in most areas of my life, I am ecclectic too in music. I like anything from rock (Godsmack, Evanescence, Incubus, System of a Down, etc) to fusion (Vas) to country (my roots), bluegrass, folk, classical, world, new age, etc. My very favorite genre of music is Celtic. I am a great lover and collector of Celtic music of all kinds.
Movies
I have a love of all sorts of movies. A few favs included Harry Potter, LOTR trilogy, Disney movies, action/suspense movies, Gone with the Wind, etc, etc, etc. I am really not into scary/horror movies though. I have a tender spot for romance movies and films. I also like "different" and interesting movies. I have a huge list of movies I own if you ever want to see it....
TV
I don't have too much time to watch tv but I try to catch.....Heroes, Bones, My Name is Earl (Karma baby!), The Office, and Battlestar Galactica. I detest reality shows of any kind! I would prefer to watch paint dry than to watch American Idol. It's just not my thing!
Books
I have 3 bookcases of books. You will find many books on there from my undergraduate (Anthropology) and graduate (Irish/Scottish studies) degrees. You will also find books on Egyptology, lots of non-fiction, and some fiction. You will also see books on various religions, books from my childhood, history books, and an extensive collection of Celtic related books. I also have many cookbooks, as well as many metaphysical topics. I like to read magazines as well (mostly cooking, and some fashion ones).

Dislikes
Ignorance, prejudice, intolerance, rudeness, lack of cell phone etiquette, Pepsi products, onions!, mushrooms, peppers, heights.
Hobbies
Making jewlery, reading, crafts, exploring California, spending time with my kitty, watching movies.
Vices
Margaritas on the rocks with tons of salt, chicken tortilla soup, cheese, my debit card, procrastination, not following my dreams.
